Book a school, college or university presentation
The charity gives a very successful presentation in schools, colleges and universities throughout the UK. It gives us the chance to talk face-to-face with those potentially at risk. Our presentations are flexible to suit your needs, running from 20 minutes to 45 minutes in length, enabling the students to recognise Diabetes Type 1 to prevent further deaths, like Adam’s happening again in future. As a result of our talk, young people understand that diabetes can potentially be a silent sudden death killer, but recognise that if diagnosed – sufferers can lead healthy and successful lives.Since the charity has started we have presented to over 24,000 teenagers, here is some of the feedback that we have had.
If you are a school, college or university and would like us to present at your school, please click the email below or fill out your details on the contact page and we can book one in for you.

Below are just some of the comments that we have received from schools and pupils about our talk.
St Christopher’s School:
“Thank you so much for coming in and talking to our pupils today. I thought the presentation was successful from so many perspectives; it was heartfelt, science-based, sensible, carefully pitched, not patronising and just really genuine.”
North London Collegiate School:
“Thank you for the excellent presentation that you gave at our school recently. The students found it very interesting and useful. Every student that I asked was very positive and I am really grateful that you are willing to come again next year. We are committed to encouraging young women to pursue careers in medicine, science and engineering and we are very grateful for your help.”
St Margaret’s School:
“Thank you so much for your very informative and emotional talk on diabetes. The year 13 girls felt that you had given them a very balanced talk so they were aware of the signals and how the disease can be managed but not alarmed by it. I hope that we will be able to make this a regular entry in the General Studies Course at St Margaret’s School as we believe that it is only with education in many areas of life that one can make a balanced judgement and deal with situations as they occur.”
From a student:
“I was given a talk on behalf of the Adam Bell foundation and I would just like to thank you very much. It was a very interesting talk and I (and the rest of my year) definitely learnt a lot and are now very aware of type 1 Diabetes. It was an extremely brave talk to present and I feel that what you do is fantastic and extremely commendable. Good Luck in all you do.”
Dame Alice Owen’s school:
“Thank you very much for coming to school and giving year 10 your presentation. I spoke to several of them afterwards and they all said how interesting and useful it had been. You got your message across very clearly and raised the awareness of the pupils. I understand that the primary aim of your organisation is to raise awareness of diabetes and prevent deaths. However I feel that your talk has broader educational merit. It gives pupils a chance to think about emotions and relationships as well as being a useful adjunct to their science education.”
Liverpool College:
“Your presentation certainly had a huge impact on all who had the privilege of being there & indeed to those who were unable to be there.”
